The 3CX Session Border Controller allows remote sites to connect multiple phones to a 3CX using a secure tunnel. We will always use an SBC on a remote site if:
Using the 3CX SBC means we can securely connect to our 3CX server and manage all connected devices on the remote network without applying complex routing and static IP’s to each IP handset. For hosted 3CX servers this means we can ensure traffic between site and server are protected through the tunnelled connection, and we’re able to troubleshoot issues with relative efficiency.
